Oasis Announce 2027 Tour: Knebworth Return Confirmed

After 2025’s wildly lucrative reunion, the Gallagher brothers will tour the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, and the United States in 2027, revisiting the Hertfordshire site of their greatest live triumph for four nights celebrating the 30th anniversary of Knebworth 1996.

“Start the celebrations!”, the band announced in an official statement. “After a period of reflection, The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force in Recent British History has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”

The band teased the news in a massive drone display above Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, following teaser hints on Instagram. The announced dates encompass 38 stadium concerts, beginning at Glasgow’s Celtic Park on 21 May 2027 and concluding at Knebworth in September.

Return to Knebworth: 30 Years After Historic 1996 Shows

The return to Knebworth House carries immense historical resonance. In August 1996, Oasis played to 250,000 fans over two nights—selected from more than 2.5 million applicants, representing over 4% of the entire British population. Noel Gallagher famously captured the mood from the stage: “This is history, right here, right now.”

Promoter SJM Concerts has secured an events licence covering 125,000 people per night for the four shows, allowing half a million fans to witness the Gallagher brothers on the historic grounds 30 years later.

Ticket Pricing and New CMA Consumer Protection Rules

In the UK, official tickets will cost between £71.50 and £266.60. Following action by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) after fan backlash over dynamic pricing during the 2024/2025 reunion onsales, Ticketmaster must operate under strict transparency rules for Oasis Live ’27:

• 24-hour advance notice: Ticketmaster must tell fans at least 24 hours in advance if tiered or dynamic pricing will be used.
• Upfront price range: The full price scale must be displayed and updated live as tickets sell out.
• No misleading availability: Misleading scarcity warnings or in-cart surge pricing are legally prohibited.

Pre-Registration Ballot Window

Anyone wanting to purchase tickets for the 2027 tour must register on the official registration ballot before 4:00 PM BST on 17 September 2026. According to organizers, pre-registration has been introduced to reduce queuing congestion and organized touting, giving genuine fans priority access.
